Back in Action

Back on my abandoned blog.  I’m sure it felt neglected and I’m surprised that I remembered the password, but I’m in the dashboard and I’m posting a post.

I’m curious about whether wordpress.com can be used as a website for local teams and local businesses, so I will be playing around with this site a bit to see what I discover.  I will keep you posted.

Mind Like Water with Getting Things Done

I started reading Getting Things Done last night and was surprised and delighted to find the book claim the following:

Getting Things Done will have the greatest impact on your life by showing you how to get back to “mind like water”

I’m all for that and will continue to read GTD. I will also be thinking about how to use the Remember the Milk task manager to implement a GTD system.

Happy Winter Solstice

Happy Winter Solstice.

From this day forward each day will get a little bit longer.  We usually celebrate the Winter Solstice with the same group of friends each year and have a great dinner and celebration.  I will be sad to miss the dinner this year, because we had another annual holiday dinner that conflicted with the Winter Solstice party.  Just have to wait until next year.  I plan on having a great day on the first day of Winter and hope everyone else does too.
